Part 5: Remote Access
5.1 Remote FormsIf you have a custom design web store, you need to connect it to our reseller hosting system through our remote Direct Order and remote Domain Search forms. For custom design stores with spacious and advanced design we highly recommend our advanced remote forms. They give you more possibilities in terms of layout and visibility. 5.1.1 Direct Order FormExample: To use our advanced remote direct order form, simply check its corresponding box (Step 1) and customize it to best fit to your store’s website (Step 2). To change its size, enter the desired parameters in the ‘width’ and ‘height’ fields of the ‘Customize size’ table. If you wish to make more layout and colour changes, you need to download the form’s CSS file using the ‘Download CSS file from here’ link and modify it up to your preferences. After that, you need to upload the file onto your website and enter the URL in the CSS URL field (for example, http://hostglobally.com/styles.css). Next step would be to press the ‘Generate HTML Code’ button – for the form to be updated with the necessary changes. Last comes Step 3 – copy the ready-to-use HTML code and paste it into the source code of your custom design reseller website.
5.1.2 Remote Domain Search FormExample: To use our advance remote domain search form, simply check its corresponding box (Step 1) and customize it to best fit to your store’s website (Step 2). To change its size, enter the desired parameters in the ‘width’ and ‘height’ fields of the ‘Customize size’ table. If you wish to make more layout and colour changes, you need to download the form’s CSS file using the ‘Download CSS file from here’ link and modify it up to your preferences. After that, you need to upload the file onto your website and enter the URL in the CSS URL field (for example, http://hostglobally.com/styles.css). Select then the the Order form where your clients will be redirected to after they choose their domain name, and if necessary make to it customization settings (download the CSS file again, modify it, then upload it onto your website and enter the URL in the respective field). Next step would be to press the ‘Generate HTML Code’ button – for the form to be updated with the necessary changes. Last comes Step 3 – copy the ready-to-use HTML code and paste it into the source code of your custom design reseller website.
5.1.3 Client LoginIf you wish to create a members login area onto your custom-made web store, you can use our client login form. Simply copy the form’s HTML code and paste it into the source of your website. Replace only http://www.your-private-brand.com/login.html with the URL of the page where you have placed the client login form (e.g. http://www.hostglobally.com/login.html), as in case of a wrong login the client will be redirected to this page. 5.2 Reseller APIExample1: You have a custom web design store that you want to use for your reseller web hosting business. You want to connect it to our system, achieve full customization and full independence, but manage everything from your Reseller Hosting Panel and use our billing system. In this case, you need to check the box - Reseller API ‘Simple Mode ON’, enter a valid URL for your website and save your settings. You can start now setting up your store through our reseller hosting application interface software! As you are going to use our billing processors with our Remote Forms, the API Simple Mode should perfectly suit all your custom store set-up requirements. Example2: You want to connect your custom design reseller store to our reseller hosting system and guarantee 100% customization/independence/and anonymity of your reseller store by even setting up a billing system of your own (or use our billing processors with Remote Forms of your custom design). In this case you, after you have activated the Reseller API ‘Simple Mode ON’ you need to proceed with the next step – switch to Reseller API ‘Advanced Mode’. For that purpose, check the box ‘Advance Mode Approval Request’ and then select the correct billing option: ‘I will use custom billing’ – if you want to integrate your own billing system, or ‘I will use ResellersPanel’s billing’ – if you wish to make your custom order forms interact with our billing processors. After you send your approval request, our RSP team will review the contents of your website and ascertain its consistency with our reseller hosting system and the API Terms of Service. Once you get final approval, you can launch your 100% uniquely designed reseller store website!
